Richard La Plante v. Tollin/Robbins Production, LLC
Plaintiff alleges that one or more of Defendants had access to his Road Kings screenplay. Plaintiff believes and alleges that significant portions and protectable elements of Road Kings have been copied and incorporated into Wild Hogs. The two works are substantially, if not strikingly, similar. At no time did plaintiff authorize any of the Defendants to use any portion of Road Kings or otherwise copy, reproduce, distribute, perform or exploit any portion of Road Kings.
Judgment: Having reviewed the [Proposed] Stipulated Protective Order, this Court finds that good cause exists for a Protective Order on the terms and conditions stipulated by the parties.
