Plaintiff David James Duncan is the author of the novel “The River Why” and seeks to prevent the defendants from creating a film adaptation from a screenplay he dislikes, alleging that the defendant’s have an expired option.

Judgment: Plaintiff Duncan and the Defendants have entered a settlement agreement resolving the claims for relief asserted in the above-captioned action. The Parties agree that this lawsuit should be dismissed with prejudice.
