Golding v. RKO Pictures, Inc.

Samuel R. Golding and Norbert Faulkner, both well-established writers, collaborated in writing a play entitled, “The Man and His Shadow.”  They allege that the RKO motion picture The Ghost Ship plagiarized their stage play.

Judgment: Against RKO. Awarding the authors of the assertedly plagiarized stage play damages in the sum of $25,000.
