Plaintiff P.E.A. Films, Inc. is the rights owner of the movie ‘The Big Gundown’ starring Lee Van Cleef and licensed the worldwide rights to Columbia pictures to distribute and collect fees. Columbia distributed the movie properly in each country, except for France, where they failed to distribute ‘The Big Gundown’. P.E.A. Films filed this lawsuit seeking damages for the lack of distribution in France.
