OVERT OPERATIONS INC ET AL v. LAKESHORE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP
Producer Steve Golin had developed ‘The Age of Adaline’ for years and entered into a Loanout Agreement with Lakeshore where he would receive “no less than $450,000 and no more than $1,000,000”. Golin alleged that he was attached to ‘The Age of Adaline’ for the project’s life, but Lakeshore fired him off the movie, so he would not receive any of the backend profits.
Judgment: The parties requested dismissal of the complaint, which was agreed to with prejudice.
