Harter v. Disney Enterprises, Inc.
Plaintiffs Ray Harter, Jr., Richard Kearney, and Ed Corno allege that they wrote a Christmas story referred to as Santa Paws or Christmas Paws. Disney distributed two videos, Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws and The Search for Santa Paws. Plaintiffs contend that their copyrighted story was the basis for the Disney videos.
Judgment: Defendants’ motion for summary judgment of plaintiffs’ complaint is GRANTED.
