Stoddard White Jr v. Twentieth Century Fox Corporation

Me, Myself & Irene film 2000
Plaintiff Stoddard White Jr alleged that Defendants Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly stole content from his screenplay Winter Games and used the infringing material in their motion pictures Me, Myself & Irene, There’s Something About Mary and Stuck On You.

[This is the only similarity in the complaint] Similarities between Me, Myself & Irene and Winter Games, alleged by Plaintiff are a prop shopping cart in a grocery store full of groceries, in both works — and the main characters are holding a magazine at the grocery store.  Plaintiff seeks $750,000 in damages.

Judgment: Plaintiff’s claims are DISMISSED.
