Bass v. Tiscareno

Plaintiff alleged that defendant Tiscareno was informing investors in Kill Speed that the plaintiff had stolen his screenplay — which resulted in numerous canceled distribution arrangements and lost revenue.

Judgment: This libel was malicious and the court sided in favor with the plaintiff. A nondischargeable judgment in favor of Bass for $125,000 shall be entered.
