Murray Hill Pubs. v. Twentieth Century Fox

After the theatrical release of Jingle All the Way, Plaintiff Murray Hill sued Defendant Fox, alleging that the Jingle All the Way movie infringed upon the copyright for his screenplay “Could This Be Christmas”.

Judgment: We REVERSE the judgment of the district court and REMAND for an entry of judgment as a matter of law in favor of Fox.
