James J Braddock v. Angelina Jolie
This case concerns the motion picture entitled “In The Land of Blood and Honey.” Plaintiff James Braddock filed a complaint against Defendants for copyright infringement.
According to Plaintiff—who resides in Croatia—the movie infringes a book he wrote in 2007, entitled “The Soul Shattering.” Plaintiff’s book was published in Croatia in the native language of Croatia. Plaintiff alleges that Ms. Jolie gained access to and copied Plaintiff’s book when she was conducting research for her movie in Bosnia.
Judgment: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, ADJUDGED, and DECREED that judgment is entered in favor of Defendants and against Plaintiff James J. Braddock, who shall take nothing.
