Walker v. Time Life Films, Inc.

This is an action for copyright infringement, misappropriation, breach of a confidential and fiduciary relationship and unfair competition, brought by plaintiff, Thomas Walker, author of the book “Fort Apache”.  Plaintiff alleges that defendant, Time Life Films, Inc., and various persons engaged by Time Life to write, produce and direct the film “Fort Apache, The Bronx,” illegally used plaintiff’s original ideas and expression in making the film.

Judgment: Defendants’ motion for summary judgment is granted in all respects. The clerk shall enter judgment in favor of defendants.
