Chalfant v. Tubb

Plaintiffs filed this action for copyright infringement alleging that defendants produced and distributed a film entitled Blood Trail based upon a screenplay written by plaintiffs.

Judgment: IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Plaintiffs’ Motion to Strike is granted; and Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss is granted in part and denied in part: it is granted as to plaintiffs’ claims under the Lanham Act and for tortious interference with prospective economic advantage; it is denied in all other respects.
